A design industry veteran, Buffy began her career in the fashion industry designing for high end collections on 7th Avenue including Tahari and Pierre Cardin.
She designed the ensemble worn by Tipper Gore for the 1993 Presidential Inauguration and had her own eponymous ready-to-wear collection sold at Henri Bendel and other specialty stores across the US.
Buffy’s love of furniture and textiles created an easy transition to the world of Interior Design, and in 2001 she started DCH, her own interiors firm, which she still operates today as Buffy Goodwin Designs. She has designed spaces throughout Connecticut and New York, as well as Nantucket, Jackson, Wyoming, and California. She is affiliated with DEANE Kitchens for some of her featured Kitchen Design. Her kitchens have been featured on the New Canaan Kitchen Tour as well as ATHome Magazine and CT Cottages and Gardens and Best of Houzz.
In addition to interiors, Buffy’s love of nature has made her a go-to in Floral Design for weddings and special events. She is also an accomplished painter and artist.
Her broad and extensive experience in Design and the Arts enables her to bring a trained and curated eye to each project,encompassing color, light, space and sentiment, always bringing the highest level of Design and Taste to each of her clients.
